Frequently Asked Questions

These FAQs should help clarify why Pingotel is free, how that's possible, and who is behind the product.

Seriously, can I use Pingotel for free?

Yes. We charge a small fee if you choose to activate online payments and OTA synchronization. Otherwise, Pingotel is 100% free for you—no limits on the number of rooms, no tricks.

Why is it free?

"We believe that simple booking software for small hospitality businesses should be free. We follow a freemium business model, where the vast majority of users don’t pay for the software, while a small percentage is willing to pay a modest fee for advanced features.

How does it work with support?

"We provide support to all users, including those using Pingotel for free. We're obsessed with listening to feedback and building a product people love. You can reach out to us by email or message us on social media—we’ll do our best to resolve your issue as quickly as possible.

What new features are you planning to add?

99% of booking software is bloated with features, making it overly complex and slow to use. We're very selective when adding new features—but even so, our roadmap is packed.

Who is behind Pingotel?

Pingotel was started by hospitality entrepreneur Peter Fabor and software developer Daniel Gavrilov. Peter has operated his own guesthouse, coliving space, coworking space, and Airbnb apartment. Daniel is a full-time digital nomad who lives in colivings and Airbnb apartments.
